2-Day Workshop

In this class, we will cover free motion feathers, both marked and unmarked. Then, once you’ve mastered them, we’ll move on to several background stitches that will really make them stand out beautifully in your quilts. We’ll practice echo quilting, stippling, pebbles, and several other background fillers.

This is not a beginning machine quilting class. It is suggested that you have some basic machine quilting knowledge prior to taking this class.

In this class you will learn 8 different free motion background designs. Our sample piece will be a beautiful wholecloth wallhanging or pillow-top.  From pebbles to swirls, you will love these simple yet beautiful fill designs that will add lovely texture to all of you quilted projects.
